About the artist
I’m a Ukrainian artist currently based in Puglia, Italy, after living and working in Milan and London for much of my adult life. Moving between countries, cultures, and cities has shaped the way I see the world and deeply influenced my sensitivity to place, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. Travel has always been a constant in my life, not only as movement, but as a way of observing how landscapes, nature, and everyday details shape our memories of a destination.
After spending several years working with large companies and leading a fast-paced, urban lifestyle, I made a conscious decision to slow down and adopt a more intentional way of living. This shift created the space for me to reconnect more deeply with my creative practice and to approach art with greater presence, clarity, and care. Living closer to nature and embracing a slower rhythm has become an essential part of how I create.
My work explores the relationship between places, nature, and nostalgia. I’m drawn to capturing the essence of destinations rather than their literal appearance, focusing on colour, botanical elements, and thoughtful details that evoke a sense of joy, calm, and wanderlust. I work primarily in Procreate, occasionally incorporating traditional watercolour, and I aim to create illustrations that feel immersive yet refined. Through my work, I invite the viewer to pause, wander, and form an emotional connection with a place.
